Pivot Arts presents the 3rd annual Celebrate Community! Parade. Arts groups, schools, social service organizations and individuals march in support of our diverse community. The event includes large-scale puppets, art works designed and created by Swift School 6th and 7th graders, as well as free theater, dance, circus and bike safety workshops for all ages. There will also be an ice cream stand from Lickity Split Frozen Custard & Sweets!
After the parade join us at Creative Coworking for the free arts workshops. 2017 Participants include: Aloft Circus Arts, Barrel of Monkeys, CircEsteem, Dream Big Performing Arts Workshop, Everybody Dance Now! Chicago, Funny Bones Improv, Green Scene, Northside Catholic Academy, Pedalheads, Rogers Park Montessori School, Swift School, Walkabout Theater.
