Announcing presentation of PIVOT ARTS AWARDS
We will present Pivot Arts Awards to artists and community organizations that have significantly contributed to Pivot Arts at the party!

Award for Artistic Contribution
Artistic associate, Isaac Gomez, receives this year’s honor for his artistic contribution to Pivot Arts. Issac’s play La Ruta (originally titled The Women of Juarez) was developed in our 2017 Arts Incubator program and premiered at Steppenwolf Theater this year. He has hosted Live Talk shows, appeared in our Sadness Show, and has been a major contributor in strategic planning for the organization. This year he co-curates Girasol: An Evening of Latinx Performances for the Pivot Arts Festival.

Award for Community Contribution
Francesca’s Bryn Mawr has been a major supporter of Pivot Arts since 2014. Their generous in-kind contribution has enabled us to raise funds to support the festival and keep our fundraising expenses at a minimum. We are incredibly grateful for their commitment to supporting the arts in Edgewater.
