We are thrilled to announce the 3rd annual PIVOT ARTS FESTIVAL, featuring dozens of innovative performances throughout Chicago’s Uptown and Edgewater neighborhoods will take place May 28 – June 7, 2015.

The festival is a celebration of innovative performances in theater, music, dance as well as multi-disciplinary works. This year’s theme is “Celebrate Community!” in an effort to bring diverse neighbors together through the arts. A first-time community parade will include puppets created by Swift School students (under the direction of Lizi Breit from Manual Cinema and Daniel Kerr-Hobert of the Neo-Futurists) and will culminate with performances on Loyola University’s St. Ignatius Community Plaza. The Festival takes place over ten days and audiences will have the opportunity to attend innovative and exciting performances. Programming includes: live music, theater, dance, puppetry, discussions, wine tastings, workshops, performances for children, and the “Celebrate Community!” parade on May 30th at 1pm kicking-off on Granville near Kenmore Avenue.
