Pivot Arts creates original site-specific works, often in the form of a “performance tour” that moves through multiple spaces. Past works include The Memory Tour (2016); Don’t Look Back/Must Look Back (2017); Charged Spaces/Changing Bodies (2018) and our special All Hallows Eve event at the historic Colvin House (2019).
For this year’s Pivot Arts Festival, Reimagining Utopia, we are thrilled to be presenting site-specific performances at The Edge Theatre and Colvin House, specifically created with public safety precautions for the pandemic!
Large-scale, abstract puppets in performance, followed by an outdoor puppet-building workshop for families to create their own imaginary creatures. Co-Created and Co-Curated by Will Bishop, Samuel J. Lewis, II, and Grace Needlman. This all-ages, LIVE event will premiere at Colvin House on Sunday, May 30th at 2:00pm and 3:30pm.
Take a "Performance tour” where small groups of masked audiences will be led through spaces as if moving through a gallery exhibition. Featuring live performances and video installations by:
