2020 PIVOT ARTS FESTIVAL
MARKETING MANAGER
Pivot Arts is searching for a part-time Marketing Manager (MM) who will oversee Pivot Arts’ festival marketing. The MM manages the company’s digital marketing strategy, distribution of print materials, and box office/patron relations. The MM should be skilled with social media platforms, able to be trained to make basic website updates in WordPress, and create digital content for social media, website, e-blasts and blog. The MM will also set up ticketing and manage sales in box office website.
The MM will research potential partners for audience development; forge and implement collaborative marketing strategies with participating festival companies, artists, venues and sponsors. In addition, the MM helps recruit, oversees and manages box office volunteers as well as distribution of postcards, posters and brochures. The MM assists with sponsorship initiatives by helping to secure auction items, creating materials for the fundraiser, and marketing the fundraiser event.
This position requires a highly organized and reliable “go-getter” with strong communication and people skills. The MM must be able to meet deadlines, work in a collaborative environment and manage volunteers. This is an excellent opportunity to meet and work with top tier theater and dance companies who will participate in the festival. The MM reports to Pivot Arts Director. This is a part-time, seasonal position from early March – June 19 and averages about 15 to 20 hours a week with a ramp up to the festival. The festival runs June 4-14 with the fundraiser event on May 8.

Basic Qualifications:
